On Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, God looked around His garden and noticed He needed another angel, so He looked upon the earth and He saw your beautiful face.

Mrs. Nadie Dildy, 94, was born Dec. 12, 1925, to the late Shad and Alberta Jones. She was the wife of the late James L. “Shorty” Dildy for 60 years. She was predeceased by two brothers, Willie and Clemmon Jones; one sister, Alicia Freeman; one daughter, Brenda D. Wiggins; and one grandson, Tommy.

She is survived by seven sons, James (Maryann), Thomas (Carla), Lesie (Janet), Seth (Denise), Henry (Sharon), Terry (Paulette), Dennis (Staris); and an adopted daughter, Irene Lassiter. She had 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews

Nadie was a lifetime member of New Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church, Drum Hill, N.C.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at the Benton Family Cemetery. Arrangements made by Crocker Funeral Home.
