Police investigate stolen vehicle

Suffolk Police are investigating a stolen vehicle incident that happened Sunday evening at a North Suffolk 7-Eleven store.

The incident was reported at 10:31 p.m. from the store in the 6400 block of Hampton Roads Parkway, according to a city press release.

The victim reportedly went inside the store and left his vehicle running and unlocked. Another vehicle pulled up to the store, and someone got out and drove off with the victim’s car.

During this time, someone reportedly fired a gun, with the projectile hitting the front glass of the store. No one was injured in the incident.

The vehicle was later found in Chesapeake by Virginia State Police.

The incident remains under investigation.
