Mary “Jelly Bean” Frances Farrenkopf Hite Luter, 83, passed away Dec. 23, 2020. She was born July 2, 1937, in Suffolk, the daughter of the late Albert Willard Farrenkopf Sr. and Lucy Viola Askew Farrenkopf. She was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Wallace Luter, and her son, Paul E. Hite Jr. Mary retired from Obici Hospital as an operating room technician. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by her children and their spouses, Sherie Mitchell (Gary), Ladena Spruill (Chris), Paula Gurniak (John), Charles A. Hite (Nancy), and Rhonda Van De Wal (Steve); nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda F. Tomlin, Gloria F. Salmon (James “Pete”); brother, Albert W. Farrenkopf Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
