On Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, Mr. George Wallace Jackson Jr., a loving and devoted husband to Barbara Jackson; beloved father of Valerie E. Jackson, Terrye L. Jackson, Kellye S. Jackson (Mbaye Mar) and Sophia Bowman-Bond (Nelson Bond) passed away. He is also survived by one brother, Jeffrey Lydell Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Wallace Jackson Sr. and Isola Gertrude Jackson; and two brothers, Albert Lee Jackson and the Rev. Dr. James Thomas Jackson. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
