James Ruben “Heartbeat” Brinkley, 77 of Hamilton, Ala., a prior resident of Suffolk, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family prior to the service from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with limited gathering and social distancing.
