With the resignation of Sleepy Hole Borough School Board member David Mitnick for health reasons, the board is now accepting application letters for the vacant seat.

Mitnick, who had served on the board since 2015 and ran unopposed in November, announced his resignation during the Jan. 14 board meeting.

The six current board members will interview and select a person to fill the seat by Feb. 26.
