More snow is expected overnight from late Saturday into Sunday morning.

Areas to the north and west of Suffolk are under winter storm warnings or winter weather advisories. However, as of 5 p.m., neither of those advisories had been extended to Suffolk.

The National Weather Service in Wakefield stated a wintry mix of snow and sleet will change to rain by Sunday afternoon. A light accumulation of snow and sleet, up to an inch, is possible before the precipitation changes to rain.
