The deadline for the fourth round of the COVID-19 Small Business Assistance Grant Program has been extended.

The deadline will now be midnight on March 31, according to a city press release. “This will allow the inclusion of a broader range of small businesses from Suffolk who have been impacted by COVID-19 restrictions,” it stated.

For this current round, applications are open to small businesses established in Suffolk, both brick-and-mortar as well as home-based businesses. The business must have been open for business by Nov. 1, 2020. Additional information, qualifications, and the application can be found on the YesSuffolk.com under “COVID-19 Resources” — Small Business Assistance Grant Program. Approximately $500,000 is available for the grants, which will provide working capital grants of up to $5,000 per selected business.
