Carroll E. Cox, 68, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021. He was the son of the late Willie and Ruth Cox. He is predeceased by his wife, Agnes Juanita Cox; a daughter, Kimberly Carol Scoggins; and a brother, Norman Cox.

Mr. Cox retired after 40 years with Vitex Packaging. He enjoyed nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman during his life.

Survivors include his children, Linda Cox Saunders, of Windsor, and Marcey Cox Rawles, of Suffolk; sisters, Diane McKenzie, of Virginia Beach, and Nancy Briggs, of Sunbury, N.C., along with his grandchildren, Richard, David, Ashley and Nicole Perkins, Taylor Saunders, Gabriel Rawles; and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Kimberly Perkins.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021, in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Suffolk. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6350 Center Dr Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
