UPDATE: Pruden Boulevard has reopened.

Earlier: A portion of Pruden Boulevard is closed due to downed power lines.

The 2500 block of the road is completely closed in both directions due to downed power lines from an earlier accident, a city press release stated. Crews from Dominion Energy, Spectrum and Verizon are on scene.

The roadway is expected to remain closed through much of the evening.
