William Alphonso Corner, 54, passed away unexpectedly at his care home in Norfolk. William Corner was born August 2, 1966, in Suffolk to the late William Corner Jr. and Lester M. (Brogdon) Corner.

William was an affiliate of Tabernacle Christian Church. He received his formal education with the City of Suffolk public schooling and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. His cheerful attitude and bright laughter touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him. William was a lover of great food and entertainment, so he loved spending time with his family.

William was predeceased by his sister Anita D. Corner. William is survived by his mother and sister, Lester Mae and Diane Corner; two beautiful nieces, Caicee M. Crocker and Brittany D. Corner; one uncle, Lester L. Brogdon (Phyllis); three aunts Gloria J. Jackson (Charles), Joyce A. Henry (Wayne) and Annie L. Burrus (Clarence); one great aunt Johnnie M. Brown and a host of loving cousins and family and friends.

The family will be accepting family and friends on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at 804 Adams St. in remembrance of William’s life. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
