Roger Lee Vann, 65, of Dorchester Street, died Sunday, April 18, 2021, in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk.

Mr. Vann was born in Suffolk on December 17, 1955, and was the son of the late Walter Edward Vann Sr. and Ollie Grace Bundy Vann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanett Price and Nellie Byrum; and by brothers, Walter Jr., Bobby and Joe Vann.

Surviving is his sister, Betty V. Davis of Belvidere, N.C.; and his brother, James Earl “Rusty” Vann of Suffolk. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, extended family members and his family at Joy Haven.

A private graveside memorial service will be held on the family plot at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery and will be conducted by the Rev. Vickie Woolard.
