Loerene M. Powell, 90, of South 12th Street, Suffolk, transitioned Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Metropolitan Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
