Jane Burke Lego, the soul child of William Frances Burke and Martha Jane Jordan Burke of Yeadon, Pennsylvania, born Oct. 26, 1928, died on June 26, 2021, at the chronological age of 92; she was much younger at heart, mind, and perhaps soul. Those who knew her mourn her death, but gratefully remember her life.

She is predeceased by all who went before her and survived by the rest of us. A scholarship student at the University of Pennsylvania, she had a master’s degree in library science from Drexel and was awarded a lifetime membership to the Virginia Library Association. She loved life, books (being a librarian by career), knitting, the arts (of all kinds), and was an innovative thinker and doer, making the world just a little bit better, for you. She was very proud of her progeny. She would wish that you remember in your own way and follow the example she lived. Family wishes to thank hospice and the many, many friends.
