Police investigate early-morning shooting

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Tuesday.

Police were called to the 300 block of North Broad Street at 1:49 a.m., according to a city press release.

Upon arriving in the area of North Broad and Second streets, police found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Demontae N. Wilson, 22, of Suffolk, as well as a juvenile male were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.

The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
