William, a native of Suffolk,, was the son of the late Joe Louis Chapman and Mary Lee Chapman. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Rising St. James, 201 N. Sixth St., Suffolk. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
