Adam Johnson Jr., 85, of Whaleyville Boulevard in Suffolk, transitioned Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. A viewing will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, in the mausoleum at Carver Memorial Cemetery, 2320 E. Washington St., Suffolk. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at Mt. Ararat Christian Church, 1860 Airport Road, Suffolk. He will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services have been entrusted to Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home and Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, both of Hampton.
