Penny J. Mathews Graham passed away peacefully at her home in Suffolk on Nov. 24, 2021, after a long battle with brain cancer. She lived life to its fullest while fighting this horrible disease. She was a talented artist and master gardener. Penny had an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts and had almost completed her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. 

She was the daughter of Roy Earnest Mathews and Nina May Mathews of Quincy, Ill. who have passed away. She leaves behind her brothers, Charles and Kevin Mathews also of Quincy. She also leaves behind her husband, Jim Graham; their son, Keegan M. Graham; their daughter, Tiffany Graham Nicholson and her grandsons, James and Graham Nicholson as well as their father and our son-in-law, James (Nick) Nicholson. She was an awesome grandmother to her wonderful grandsons and she was a loving mother to her children. She was the best friend, partner and true love of her husband James B. Graham for 45 years. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her many friends and family.
