Water disruption taking place in Huntersville

The Suffolk Department of Public Utilities is currently working to repair a leak on a 4-inch diameter water main in the 6000 block of Hunters Court, according to a city press release.

Public Utilities planned to begin to repair the leak at approximately 11 a.m. Friday morning. Water service interruptions will be experienced by residents in the following locations:

  • 6000 block of Hunters Court
  • 6000 block of Skeet Road
  • 6000 block of Old Townpoint Road
  • 6000 block of Freeman Avenue
  • 5000 block of Huntersville Place

Restricted traffic on Hunters Court should be expected, the press release stated. The repair work is anticipated to last from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Approximately 100 residences are affected.
