Nancy J. Gunderson, 83, of Suffolk passed away on Dec. 6, 2021. She was the daughter of Lyle and Lillian Gunderson. She is also preceded in death by her niece, Laurel Cocco.

Before moving to Virginia, Nancy was the primary caregiver for her parents in Berwyn, Ill.

She will be remembered for her caring and generous soul and loved to give hugs. She also was a long-term resident of Lake Prince Woods Community in Suffolk.

She is survived by her sister, Joan G. Hass; niece, Linden Cabral and her children, Zachary and Riley; nephew, Derek Hass and Laurel’s children, Melissa and Michelle.
