Suffolk’s most wanted man arrested

The top person on Suffolk’s Most Wanted List has been arrested on charges including murder.

Jerome J. Scott, 26, is charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in relation to the Dec. 27 murder of Demonz Wilson, according to a city press release.

Scott was arrested Jan. 14 through a joint effort with the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office, the Suffolk press release stated.

The murder of Wilson, 31, happened about 8:50 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 100 block of North Capital Street.
