UPDATE: J’Kari Goodman has been located in Norfolk, according to a Suffolk Police Department press release. He is safe and being reunited with his father. Keevonda Stokely and Larrio Gray have been taken into custody, and charges are pending.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.

Earlier: Suffolk Police are investigating the abduction of a 3-year-old.

Police say Z’Kari Goodman was physically removed from a residence in the 100 block of Fayette Street by his mother, Keevonda Stokely, and her boyfriend, Larrio Gray, at around 8 p.m. Friday.

Andre Goodman, Z’Kari’s father who has full legal custody, attempted to retrieve his son before the offenders entered their vehicle, but police say Gray threatened Goodman and other family members with a weapon.

Gray and Stokely left the scene in a black 2005 Honda Accord with Virginia temporary registration 51278R.

Z’Kari Goodman is 4 feet tall, weighs approximately 42 pounds, and has chin-length plats/braids. Z’Kari was last seen wearing a black and white T-shirt, with blue and white Adidas pants.
