Westbound Route 58 at Pruden Boulevard will have one lane closed Thursday starting at 9:30 a.m. as crews work to remove the box container left in the median after yesterday’s accident.

It is estimated that the operation will take approximately four hours and will impact traffic due to the lane closure. Both lanes may be closed for periods of time as well during the work period.

Suffolk Police and Public Works crews will be on site to assist with traffic control.
