Frances Patricia “Pat” Skillman, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022. She was born in Suffolk, on Jan. 30, 1938. She was a loving, devoted wife to her husband James Skillman of 47 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Dan and Louise Holly and her brother, Jimmy Holly. She is survived by her brother, Dan (Betty) Holly Jr., and her sister-in-law, Peggy Holly. She was a caring and compassionate mother of five children, Yvonne (Ray) Johnson, Tammy (Copeland) Wasson, Teresa (Ross Kinsey) Buck, Anthony (Lisa) Copeland and James Skillman Jr. Pat was a grandmother to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 20 great-grandchildren. She was a wife, mother and grandmother who had a heart for Jesus. She was a friend who was kind, caring and compassionate who volunteered at San Pablo Elementary School and Sonrise Worship Center in Atlantic Beach.

Pat’s graveside service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery Lane #2, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Fla, with Pastor Jerry Curtis officiating.
