Police investigate shooting into dwelling

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting into an occupied dwelling Thursday night.

The shooting was reported at 9:40 p.m. in the 2000 block of Freeney Avenue, according to a Suffolk Police Department news release.

Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with the two adult victims who were home at the time of the incident.

No injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
