Police investigate robbery at Holiday Food Store on North Main

A convenience store on North Main Street was robbed at gunpoint Thursday evening, according to Suffolk police.

Police said the robber entered the Holiday Food Store in the 700 block of North Main Street just after 9 p.m., showed a handgun, took an unknown amount of money and left the scene on foot.

There were no injuries, according to police, who said the investigation is ongoing.
