Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Washington Food Store in the 700 block of West Washington Street  at 8:02 p.m. Sunday.

The robber entered the store wearing a mask, produced a handgun, obtained an unknown amount of money and fled the scene on foot.  There were no reported injuries.
