Alan Luther Felton, 85, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022. He was the son of the late Thomas Roland and Nancy Otelia Felton. He is preceded by a brother, Roland Lanier Felton and a great-grandson, Jordan Anthony Cecil.

Mr. Felton was a graduate of Suffolk High School in 1955. He was a retired Army First Sergeant and retired from Union Camp as a supervisor at the particle board plant. He was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Ann W. Felton; daughters, Angie Salerno (David) of Suffolk and Nancy Todd of Virginia Beach; son, David Felton of Suffolk along with his grandchildren, Ashley (Cole), Ariel, Benji and Mason; one great-granddaughter, Sophia, and a brother, Frank Felton of Lenoir, N.C.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 25, in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N.
