Tylette Christine Hatchell Westnedge, 79, passed away on March 31, 2022. She was born in San Francisco, Calif. the daughter of the late Tyler Lawrence Hatchell Jr. and Harriette Christine Mechtoldt Burgess. She was also predeceased by her brother, Tyler L. Hatchell III and stepdaughter, Cynthia Robinette.  

As a child, Tylette was active in the Simonsdale Youth and Dance League.  She received awards for achievement in the YMCA swim league.  She served as a coach for the PeeWee Cheerleaders. Tylette graduated early at the age of 16 from Churchland High School. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Suffolk Elks Lodge.  She worked and retired after many years as a supervisor for General Electric.

Tylette is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edwin Howell Westnedge; daughter, Amy Kirkman (Steve); son, Arthur Walker (Ann); stepchildren, Steven Westnedge (Anna), David Westnedge (Judy), Terrance “Terry” Westnedge and Nancy Haskett (Vance); grandchildren, Lorraine Grizzle, Mallory Devine (Eamon), Shane Peavy (Natalie), Krystal Comisky (Alex), Adam Westnedge (Brandy), Cory Robinette, Jennifer Westnedge (Derek), Ashley Chapman (Nathan), Katelyn Balla (Michael); great-grandchildren, Ava, Alyssa, Charlotte, Violet, Julian, Wyatt, Paisley, Alexander, Bryce, Brittney, Autumn and Hailey; sister, Josie Hatton and half brother, Earl Glenn Burgess.
