Adaptive Art Fridays – Picasso

Make masterpieces at Adaptive Art Fridays at the North Suffolk Library. Create art based on a different featured artist and art styles. This program is adapted for adults of all abilities. Registration is required and completed using this link https://suffolkpubliclibrary.libcal.com/event/8979290 . If you are attending with a group, please include everyone in your group, including yourself and other support staff, in the number of active participants when you register. You can register up to 10 people at a time. Event will be 11 a.m. to noon. Suffolk Farmers’ Market Season Opening Celebration

The Suffolk Farmers’ Market kicks off the 2022 season in the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion at 524 N. Main St. The weekly market is enjoyed by locals and visitors searching for fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meats and eggs, jellies, jams, honey, pickles and handmade artisan crafts. The market is situated at the corner of Constance Road and North Main Street directly behind the Suffolk Visitor Center. Regular market hours are Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 7 through Nov. 19. Market-goers can enjoy a variety of homegrown and handmade goods, special activities and live music. As with all market activities, admission is free and open to the public. Bike In Movie: ET

Bennett’s Creek Park will transform into a movie theater with a 30-foot screen. Bring your bike or bike to the park to enjoy a showing of “ET.” A concessions area will be available with food and treats. Pets are welcomed on a leash. Growing Up Suffolk: Where Play and Learning Come Together! @ Creekside Elementary School

Suffolk Public Library, ECDC and Suffolk Public Schools are ready to celebrate at Creekside Elementary School with music, games, giveaways and more. Jack’s Jungle will kick off the event at 11 a.m. in the Creekside Elementary School cafeteria. Join the fun outside for family fun activities supporting play, learning and time spent with your little one.
