Jennifer Moore has joined the city of Suffolk as assistant director of media & community relations.

Director of Media & Community Relations Tim Kelley announced the appointment.

Moore comes to Suffolk after almost 10 years with the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, where she served as communications and government relations director. Her background also includes marketing, business development and leadership program coordination.

Moore is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College (University) and an alumna of Lead Hampton Roads and the Lefcoe Leadership Program.
