NSA baseball team cruises into conference tournament semifinals

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy advanced to Wednesday’s semifinals of the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools baseball tournament with a 12-2 win over Catholic on Tuesday.
Matthew Faircloth had four hits to pace the Saints, who improved to 13-6.
Josh Morris added two hits with three RBIs.
Connor McGhee and Carson Wetmore had a combined 13 strikeouts on the mound and allowed just two hits.
NSA plays at Greenbrier Christian in the semifinals.
