Windsor juvenile charged in Holland store robbery

Suffolk police have arrested a Windsor teen in connection with an armed robbery Wednesday morning at the Tobacco and Vape shop in the 1500 block of Holland Road. 

The 17-year-old boy, who was not identified, faces felony charges of robbery using or displaying a firearm, using or displaying a firearm in the commission of a felony and assault and battery. 

Officers responded to the store at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday. An employee told police that the robber entered the store posing as a customer, then went behind the counter, grabbed and pushed the employee, inferred he had a weapon and demanded merchandise.

The robber fled with the merchandise and left the scene in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
