Betty Jane Oliver Pritchard, 87, of Suffolk, Va. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Laura and Robert Oliver. Jane was a retired clerk of the Suffolk Juvenile and Domestic Courts. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church for over 60 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Griggs Pritchard Sr.; daughters, Carolyn West McGuire (Mike), Laura West Carter (Marty) and Mary A. West; and grandchildren, John Carr (Alisha), Jacob K. Cogley, April Nell McGuire (Dash), and Catherine McGuire. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Lake Prince Woods whom she loved.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, at Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N. Main St. with Pastor Tracy Hartman officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. the following day, Friday, at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, 1909 W.
