To the editor,

I am writing to you today to please support stopping the slaughter of our horses.

Most people don’t realize the number of horses bought at auction that are sold to kill buyers. Slaughter is against the law in the United States, but the horses are shipped to Mexico and Canada.

They are pets, not animals raised for consumption.
