Ms. Alberta Lee  Weaver, 475 Wellons Street, departed this earthly life on May 27, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Carrie Bryant Grant and Charlie Grant Sr.

She is survived by Alton (Ray) Weaver, Clara and Alberta Weaver of Suffolk. A sister, Rosa Grant of Suffolk, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at the Lakeview Missionary Baptist. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Funeral Services has been entrusted to Harris Funeral Home, 685 Carolina Road. You may send condolences to the family at vharrisfuneralhome.com.
