Suffolk’s National Night Out 2022 will officially begin with a Community Kickoff event at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion, 524 N. Main St.

Community and neighborhood group leaders are welcome to attend and find out what this year’s event is about as well as register with the Suffolk National Night Out Committee.

Suffolk has a longstanding tradition of excellence with National Night Out and has ranked in the top 10 nationwide for over a decade in its population category while being the recipient of five first-in-the-nation awards (2008, 2009, 2014, 2016, 2018), the city said in a news release.
