The Suffolk Art League’s annual Open Members’ Show will be on display at the Suffolk Art Gallery, 118 Bosley Ave., through July 15.

This year’s show features 161 artworks by 86 artists from Suffolk, the rest of Hampton Roads, northeastern North Carolina and beyond.

“We are excited that so many artists are participating in our Open Members’ Show this year,” said Linda Bunch, executive director. “The show presents many different styles, mediums and approaches to making art that everyone will find something that appeals to them. This year’s show includes many familiar artists as well as welcomes a number of new artists to SAL.”

Works include many traditional painting mediums such as watercolor, acrylic and oil as well as photography. Some of the works were created using other mediums such as cold wax and mixed media.

In addition to the two-dimensional works on display, there are works made from glass, clay and wood sculpture. Most of the artwork in the exhibition is for sale, and a portion of each sale helps to support Suffolk Art League programming.

Admission to the Suffolk Art Gallery is free. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
