Police: Man found dead in vehicle, was shot

Suffolk Police have confirmed the identity of a man who was found dead inside a vehicle late Monday morning on Matthews Court near Blythewood Lane. 

The man has been identified as Justin Abel Littlejohn, 22, of Suffolk, and police said his death was the result of injuries suffered due to a gunshot wound. 

Suffolk Police said the city’s 911 Center received an anonymous call around 11:26 a.m., with the caller reporting that someone had been shot and was in the 600 block of Matthews Court.

When police arrived, they found a man dead inside a vehicle. 

Police continue to investigate the incident.
