Mr. Jesse Trent, president and chief executive officer of Crocker Funeral Home Inc., passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Roanoke. Mr. Trent was a former teacher and retired social worker for the city of Suffolk.
A family visitation hour was scheduled for noon Friday at the Pigg River Community Center Rocky Mount, and funeral services at noon on Saturday at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 213 N. Main St. The Very Rev. Dr. Keith Emerson delivered the message of comfort. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
