Suffolk seniors are encouraged to lace up their walking shoes on Friday, Aug. 5, for a day of exploration in Edenton, North Carolina.

Active Adult Seniors 55-plus will spend the day socializing and exploring the history of Edenton. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the welcome center, take a guided trolley tour, browse local shops and enjoy a “dutch” lunch at one of the local restaurants.

The cost is $9 per person. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required and can be completed at the East Suffolk Recreation Center, 138 S. Sixth St.  Registration ends on Tuesday, Aug.2.
