Widening of a three-mile stretch of Holland Road will cause the speed limit to be reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph beginning Monday.

The Suffolk Department of Public Works said in a news release that the Route 58 widening project is entering Phase II, necessitating the lower speed limit, which will continue until the project is complete.
