Willard S. “Sammy” Holland Jr., 77, of Suffolk, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was the son of the late Willard and Erma Holland. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn Virginia Holland; grandson, Samuel Brown; and sisters, Bobbie H. Griggs and Anna H. Lewis. 

Willard retired from Parker Oil after 30 years. He loved to restore antique cars, gas pumps and tractors. He enjoyed hot rods, trains and attending car shows. He loved his family and very much enjoyed time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Willard is survived by his significant other, Kimberly Bir; daughters, Kelly H. Chaney (David), and Tammy H. Porter (Greg); grandchildren, Joshua Brown, Andrew Long and Emily Ussery; great-grandchildren, Dalton Roberts and Noah Boykin; sister, Betty H. Mazie; sister in laws, Louise Brinkley and Linda Livesey, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, at Cypress Chapel Christian Church, 1891 Cypress Chapel Road. R.W.
