Les Gemmes inducts new officers for 2022-24

The Suffolk Chapter of Les Gemmes Inc. recently inducted new officers for 2022-24 during a ceremony at the home of Zombia Everett.
The officers are: Gail Hinton-Copeland, president; Veronica Evans, vice president; Anita Everett-Batts, secretary; Tammy Miller-Williams, assistant secretary; Chandra Johnson, treasurer; and Gracie Eure, recording secretary. Other members of the organization are Everett, Brenda Jones, Adriana Bethel-Hibbler, Evelyn Wall, Audrey Knight and Sharon Downs.
In addition, the chapter held a “meet and greet” program hosted by Tonya Batten at Ryan’s Steaks and Cakes Restaurant, 202 E. Washington St. Six interested women who wished to join the chapter attended. The two-hour program included an opening by Hinton-Copeland, an “ice-breaker” by Miller-Williams and a delicious meal.
