The Biennial Reunion for graduates, supporters and attendees of East Suffolk High School from 1939 to 1965 began Thursday, with activities continuing through Sunday.

The reunion theme was “Keeping the Legacy Alive.”

Festivities began Thursday night with Open Game Night, including chess, checkers, cards, backgammon and music.

Friday night’s Scholarship Banquet at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront was a tribute to Dr. Thelma T. Norfleet.

Planned for a Saturday were a luncheon at the East Suffolk Recreation Center and nighttime entertainment.

Weekend activities conclude with a worship service from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday in the hotel conference room. Deceased alumni will be memorialized.
