Patricia Bass Hobbs, 82, of Suffolk passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Clara Bass. She is predeceased by her late husband, Tommy D. Hobbs and a son, Walter D. Hobbs.

Mrs. Hobbs was a member of the CrossPointe Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Martin T. Hobbs (Margaret A. Hobbs) and Stephen P. Hobbs (Florence C. Hobbs), both of Suffolk; her grandchildren, Benjamin P. Hobbs, Anna E. Hobbs, Faith M. Roehrs and Elizabeth P. Hobbs along with her sisters, Mary Whitt and Nancy Roberts.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at CrossPointe Church, 2460 Pruden Blvd. with the Rev. David Sexton officiating. Visitation will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Holy Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the CrossPointe Church Building fund.
