A super load move, involving the hauling of a transformer, could cause delays in traffic between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1.

The move will come from Hampton, and travel through Suffolk, westbound on U.S. 58 and westbound on U.S. 460.

The truck and load measure 14-feet 1-inch tall, 10-feet wide, 111-feet 5-inches in length, and weighs 296,500 pounds.

Certified front and rear escorts are planned for the vehicle making the move and Suffolk Police Department also plans to provide an escort.
