Dwight Bradshaw, 78, died on Nov. 17, 2022. A native of Chuckatuck, he was the son of the late John W. and Dorothy Chapman Bradshaw. Dwight was a graduate of Chuckatuck High School, Virginia Tech and VCU/Medical College of Virginia Dental School. He practiced general dentistry in Suffolk for over 40 years. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and the Chuckatuck Ruritan Club. Dwight was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Jennifer Winstead Bradshaw; two sons, Robert Chapman Bradshaw and wife Megan, and Arthur Winstead Bradshaw and wife Brenda; brother, W. Drexel Bradshaw and wife Joyce; and four grandsons, Max, Will, Luke and Sterling.

The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21 at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel. A funeral service is to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial is in the church cemetery.
