Man, 29, survives multiple gunshot wounds

A 29-year-old man was treated Saturday morning for multiple gunshot wounds.

A 911 caller reported at 6:56 a.m. that the man had been shot at an unknown location sometime during the night and was at a residence in the 2300 block of East Washington Street.

The victim was treated by Suffolk Fire/EMS personnel and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In a news release, police said there was no suspect information and authorities didn’t know where the shooting occurred.
