Police investigate shooting incident that injures one

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting incident that had one man turn up with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at a local hospital.
The Suffolk 911 Center received a call at 7:32 p.m. from officials at Sentara Obici Hospital advising them that a 20-year-old adult male walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound.
Suffolk Police said the incident is believed to have taken place in the 900 block of Railroad Avenue. There also was a shots fired call at 7:02 p.m. received from the 800 block of Clary’s Drive.
There is no suspect information at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
